Beau DeFiccio, co-founder of Automation Design Concepts, is an automation designer and systems design consultant. Beau partners with engineers, facility operators, and other contractors to design the best controls solution to fit their needs. Prior to starting Mid-State, Beau worked as a design engineer for Automated Logic Corporation and HVAC Control Technology. After spending nearly 8 years between those two companies, he decided it was time to branch off and utilize his Building Automation background to offer a full-service BAS Design solution. Beau graduated from The Pennsylvania College of Technology with a BS in Building Automation Technology and an Associate’s degree in HVAC Technology. Beau lives in Hollidaysburg, PA with his wife, Lyndsie, daughter Abby, and son Jordan.

Mike Martynuska is a co-founder of Automation Design Concepts. As a systems design professional he works closely with customers to make certain that their control design needs are being met. Mike loves the challenge of intricate jobs that involves using all the capabilities of a BAS system. Mike holds a BS degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State. Mike brings a strong background of implementing and troubleshooting industrial process controls and was previously employed as an electrical and instrumentation supervisor at Appvion. Mike resides in Altoona, Pennsylvania with his wife, Lyndsay, son Trent, daughters Mila and Olivia.
